How it started…

The story of our farms dates back to 1676 when William Penn presented his nephew with a 2,000 acre land grant, some of which is now Medford, New Jersey. Over time, those 2,000 acres were divided amongst several towns and farms. Mill Creek Organic Farm was divided out as a farm circa 1725 when the original farmhouse was built and The Jennings Farm circa 1785. Since then, both have a history of being used for beef, dairy, orchards and other various forms of agriculture.

 

And today….

Medford Cattle Farms brings these two farms together again with a combined 270 acres of permanently preserved farmland and a desire to provide high quality grass-fed beef and more to the surrounding communities.

  • Seeing the need for the surrounding communities to better understand where their food comes from, we partnered with like-minded people to make Medford Cattle Farms a reality.

  • Our meat is never treated with hormones or antibiotics. We are GMO-free and organically minded in our practices.

  • You can experience the difference in the taste of our beef. It is dry aged for 14-21 days for superior tenderness and flavor.

  • Grass fed and finished from day one.

As far as certifications go, we believe in actions, not labels. Our products reflect our beliefs in respecting our animals and the pastures that feed them, raising them with the utmost care, and in feeding our customers only what we feed our families - the highest quality meats raised as naturally and humanely as possible.
